Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 Aug 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DriverPage (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our platform.
1. Who we are
DriverPage provides a personal booking page for independent drivers. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. What data we collect
- Driver account data: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, car photo, public page content (bio, city, car model, etc.).
- Customer booking data: name, email, phone number, pickup and destination addresses, date/time, passenger count, notes.
- Message data: name, email and content of messages sent through a driver’s public page.
- Technical data: session cookie, IP address, browser type, and request logs needed to operate and secure the service.
3. Why we process your data
- To provide the booking and quoting service between drivers and passengers.
- To send transactional emails (new booking, quote, acceptance, cancellation).
- To keep drivers logged in via a session cookie.
- To prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of:
- Contract performance: processing bookings and accounts.
- Legitimate interest: service notifications, fraud prevention and security.
- Consent: where required (e.g., non-essential cookies or marketing emails).
5. Cookies
We use a single strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Notice for details.
6. Who we share data with
We use the following sub-processors:
- Supabase - authentication and database.
- Resend - transactional emails.
- Photon (Komoot) - address autocomplete and reverse geocoding.
- Hosting provider - server and database infrastructure.
We only share the minimum data each provider needs to perform its service.
7. Data retention
Driver accounts remain active until you delete them. Booking and customer records are automatically deleted after a fixed retention period. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data. Drivers can delete their account from their settings. For other requests, email [email protected].
9. Security
We use HTTPS, encrypted sessions, access controls and regular backups to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your login details safe.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
